Good Morning Richard and Nancy,
I have been traveling since our return from Los Suenos and therefore, this has been the first opportunity I've had to sit down and express our extreme gratitude to you both for an unforgettable trip to Costa Rica. The pictures and video we have from the trip will last us a lifetime and it really was an incredible experience. From the first day that I contacted you both, your professionalism and especially patience was unlike anything I had ever experienced when booking a vacation. From setting us up with Mauricio to helping to book activities on our days off and organizing all of our trips, we honestly could not have envisioned the trip going off smoother. My mom and girlfriend had a phenomenal time enjoying themselves at the beach club, which of course, made it exponentially easier for my dad and I to enjoy ourselves on our trips each day. The tour of the Maverick factory was the icing on the cake for my dad as boat building is one of his true passions in life. Los Suenos was undoubtedly everything which people claimed it to be and it now gives me a carrot to strive towards in my retirement quests of the future : )
It may be a while, but my dad and I have both discussed it and we do feel very strongly that at some point in the future, your phone will be ringing from us to book another trip.

**One more request to trouble you with...Richard, I'm not sure if you remember, but my dad had asked you about the stainless faucets/valves for the salt and fresh water washdowns which you have in the cockpits of your boats. Do you happen to have the company that makes them handy?

Just wanted to thanks you for the hospitality during our Costa Rica trip. My group had an absolute blast. Both the gentlemen with me are used to doing things right. They both as well as myself were greatly impressed with the professionalism of your operation. David and the crew are unbelievable. He is the best any of us have ever worked with while landing fish.We did not miss any fish that were hooked up during the entire trip. And, of course, my catching my dream Marlin was the highlight of many years of fishing.
I am sure we will come back either next year or 2012. You can be certain we will contact you when we decide. Thanks again for all your help. It was a pleasure meeting both you and your husband .

I wanted to let you know that my Dad, daughter and I had a great time last week fishing with the Spanish Fly. The boat was great but what made the biggest difference was Daniel and the crew. They were professional, courteous, dedicated and just a lot of fun to fish with. I’ve been blessed to hunt and fish all over the world and without hesitation, this was one of the most pleasurable experiences I’ve had.
Please let them know how much we enjoyed it and that we will be sure to fish with you again soon.

Hey Richard and Nancy-
Nikki and I would like to thank yall for an unbeleivable fishing experience!! The first day on the Spanish Fly was great with Daniel and the guys. They have great fishing knowledge. They are all very respectfull, patient, and stay busy at all times. Everyone was excited when the Orcas came around and under the boat! Then Friday, when you put us on the Super Fly,(because of mechanical problems on Dream Catcher) you did'nt know entirely at the time, but you gift wrapped our ultimate fishing experience!
First of all, another absolutely beautiful boat. Those boats are something to be proud of. Secondly, the David, Simon, and Carlos, are an absolute blast to fish with! The bite was on and we raised 21 and brought 17 sailfish to the boat. They let Nikki and I get the full experience by letting us pull one of our sailfish out of the water by ourself, dehook and release.
Then, Simon's crazy ass talked us into jumping into the Orca filled water (lol), grab the 7.5' fish from him and hold it up while trying to stay afloat for a picture! Absolutely amazing two day experience!!!! Last but not least, Mauricio. What more do i have to say?! He spent an entire day with us, showing us a great time. Thank You again.
The Super Fly camera has many pictures and videos of us that we would love to have. Could you e-mail them when you get a chance? Nikki is chompin at the bit to see them! We gave the guys our e-mail address. Also, we'd like to have your address to send everyone a little something for appreciation. Thank yall again and you've gained customers for life!

Just wanted to drop you a note and let you know how much we enjoyed fishing with your crews on both The Bite and Scatterbrain during our recent visit to Los Suenos. Your boats and equipment were top notch, and your captains and crews were very professional and fun to be with. Both crews did a great job of handling our boys (4 and 6 years old), and helping them enjoy the experience. I’ve also attached a few pictures that demonstrate our pleasure.

I just wanted to write a couple lines to Thank you and the guys at super fly for everything during our trip on Friday. Carlos, Daniel and Simon were awesome! They do make an excellent team. They were always alert on the fish and the other "fly" boats. I was very impress on their communication with the other boats and the excellent eye on the fish.
The super fly was recommended by fisheman buddies out of Palm Beach, FL and the Bahamas... they were right, super fly is the best!!! Nancy’s banana bread was just like my grandmas, fresh dorado on boat for lunch and awesome sailfish....
We will definitely make reservations again when we go back .

Where do I start? The trip was the best in my ten years of fishing CR.
The captains and the crew, along with the best fishing boats made right in CR, the Mavericks, made this trip unforgettable from start to finish. I have been bringing groups consisting of avid fisherman to guys that have never held a rod before to CR. This year (7) of (15) first timers and they got a trip of a life time.
Anyone who has had the pleasure of fishing out of Los Suenos knows that there are good days and great days now add to that Nancy and her fleet and the stage is set for the best fishing trip you can have. This year we had "The Bite", "Super Fly" and "Spanish Fly".
The crew worked hard, the food was great, beer was ice cold and the bite was on......45 Sailfish......8 Marlin......4 Dorado......what more can I say except thank you!! As I write the list is full for next years trip see you in 353 days.

Nancy, just wanted to take a second to tell you how much we enjoyed our recent trip to Costa Rica.
The fishing was the highlight of our trip. Great boats, captains and mates made it a super success. It was so much fun to see my family catch their first billfish! I think my 12 year old daughter was the most enthusiastic of the group.
Please tell Richard that if he ever needs a partner for a tournament, give me a call. I would love to fish one of your tournaments. You guys run a great operation and we look forward to seeing you again.

I wanted to let you know how wonderful our experience was on our most recent fishing trip March 6 on Super Fly and March 8 on Spanish Fly of 2009.
We couldn't have had a better experience and everyone affiliated with both boats and Maverick Sport Fishing was great. We plan to come back twice next year in late January and again in March/April of 2010.

Reflecting back, what was most impressive throughout the day was the HARD WORK, FOCUS, PASSION, PROFESSIONALISM AND the simple JOY OF FISHING of the entire crew had - from 7am until we reached the docks. We particularly felt that the mates JC and Lindor worked their butt's off the whole day---always checking on baits, switching them out, putting new teasers--and when the hard work paid off...and there was a bite, they were QUICK to act and you could tell that they knew what to do... and it was art in motion.

Nancy, I believe this was the younger guys first fish to boat. At least that is what I gathered from the other guys laughing at him and making him kiss the fish. Again I want to let you know that the entire experience was great! The boat and crew on the Dragin’ Fly were incredible.

Three friends and I fished on Super Fly and The Bite, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 2008 (respectively).
We had an awesome time.
The crews on both boats were absolutely amazing. On Super Fly, we caught 4 Dorado, 11 Tuna, and 6 Sailfish. On The Bite, we caught 10 Sailfish and 3 Dorado. We could not have been more pleased. Our expectations were exceeded! I just wanted to let you know that the crews of these boats are doing a very good job.
Being from North Carolina, I have seen and fished on lots of charter boats. The Maverick Yachts are among the best I have ever seen and fished on. Thanks so much for helping my buddies and I have an experience we will never forget! I have attached a few pictures from our trip.

It's tough getting back to the grind. Thanks for making things work for us. We had two great days of fishing. I believe we boated 19 Sails, 1 250+ Striped Marlin, 2 Yellow Fins and 3 Dorado. Saturday we had triple hook-ups twice and boated every one of them. That does not happen very often!
I think I’m planning on another trip in November. I’ll give you a call as time gets closer.

Just wanted to drop a line to tell you and Richard how much fun we had on our trip.
The two days of fishing were outstanding with a blue marlin, 4 big sails, 9 mahi and 6 dorado. Capt. Daniel, Mainor, and Carlos were all first rate, and the service was outstanding. The Spanish Fly is the standard from which all future billfishing trips will be measured.
We will definitely be back!

Dear Nancy and Richard
I just wanted to drop you a short note to inform you of what a great experience I had with my colleagues on the Spanish Fly this past Friday the 5th of October. The Crew was nothing short of a well oiled machine! The first and second mates were extremely professional and skilled at their respective trades. Carlos and Gilberto made sure we were hydrated and fed at all times.
The fact that they physically prepared all foods made the experience really FIRST CLASS. The fishing was a little slow however Captain Mainor was still able to put us on a large Dorado (approximately 45lbs), a 20lb Yellowfin Tuna, a 75lb Sailfish and we got really excited when a Marlin came in to the spread however wasn't hungry enough to eat. All in all a very good day under the circumstances.
The Crew worked hard to ensure our complete satisfaction from the moment we stepped aboard to the second we got off.
Thanks again for what was an EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE for me and my colleagues!

I talked with Trey Peterson earlier this morning and his group had a phenomenal time on their fishing trip. He let me know in no uncertain terms that he wants to fish on the Spanish Fly in 2008.

We had the finest fishing experience to date. Your crew and the boat exceeded all of our expectations and we literally can't wait to return. Hi, I was with the George Beckwith, Robbie Pasfield group this past week. I feel compelled to tell you have one great charter boat team and boats. Cap David, Carlos and Stephen are great, fun people and outstanding fishermen!
They provide a truly fun, exciting, and productive fishing trip. They are worth whatever you\'re paying them and then some!! Great, clean, comfortable boats. The salon is very acessible to the cockpit so if you do get to hot you can cool off but still be steps from the the action. Love it!!

I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for a great time on The Spanish Fly. While it would have been nice to pull the Tuna in, it was still a blast fighting it. Plus, we all caught a sail so that was worth it.

The boat was fantastic...not just for me, but I wanted to let you know that one of the guys fishing with me is a leading naval architect in the industry who designed for Berger and has really made a name for himself in the last few years with the Buddy Davis / Egg Harbour line of sportfishing boats among others.
