Costa Rica is a tiny peaceful country located between Nicaragua in the North and Panama in South.

Of the 16 Ecological systems in the world, Costa Rica has twelve. It is also the last land bridge formed between South and North America. Measuring a width of only 200 miles, at the widest part of the country; separates the Atlantic Ocean on one side from the Pacific Ocean on the other.

A chain of volcanoes, lush tropical forests, endangered mammals, reptiles and marine life plus the largest variety of butterflies and birds in the Western Hemisphere, both migrating and native, decorate this beautiful country. It is a giant park.

Los Suenos resort is located in the beautiful little beach town called Playa Herradura (meaning Horshoe Beach). This luxury resort took 8 years of planning and is still under development. From the airport, it's about an hour and 45 min. drive south west through the mountains. Sorry, no small plane service, yet. But, they are working on it!
