Hull Structure
The keel, stringers, and chines are laminated using Cordia Alliodora (common name Laurel Blanco) and West Systems Epoxy Resin
The hull is laminated with three layers of Laurel Blanco which has characteristics, but not color, very similar to Honduran Mahogany. The lamination is exclusive with West Systems epoxy resin. Absolutely no vinyl ester or polyester resin is used in the fabrication of these boats. Although epoxy is about 4 times as expensive as the other two, we refuse to compromise on this critical point.
